CarmSci Notes is a digital collection of my thoughts and reflections on teaching science in a wonderfully chaotic student centered learning environment. About Me

I am a science teacher in the Bellevue, WA. I am totally geeky about science education, technology, soccer, and sailing. My passion is focused on incorporating computational thinking, real world science connections, and utilizing technology to assist my students’ “ah-ha” moment of discovery and understanding.

I am Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIE Expert), Flipgrid Ambassador, Surface Master Trainer, and a mentor teacher in the Partnership for Ambitious Science Teacher Leaders (PASTL).
